Sherman and Denison are the pair of cities that make up the Sherman-Denison Metropolitan Statistical Area. Denison is the slightly smaller of the two towns, though it still has a population of roughly 25,000 people. Sherman is home to around 38,000. The cities are located less than 10 miles apart and south of Lake Texoma. Sherman and Denison are served by U.S. highways 69, 75 and 82 as well as state highways 91, 131 and more.
